Chicken Fajitas | Tasty Tuesdays #7



Hello!

Today I'm going to share with you all one of the very few dishes that I can make successfully - chicken fajitas!

It's such a simple dish to make and really fills you up!


You will need:


chicken breasts (as little or as many as you want, depending how many people you're feeding)
red&yellow peppers (again, amount varies depending on personal preferences - we used one of each)
1 onion
fajita mix
olive oil
tortilla wraps
cheese (optional)
creme fraîche (optional)
cucumber (optional)
salsa (optional)

Essentially all you need to do is chop everything up (the smaller the pieces, the quicker it will cook but again that's all down to preference), pop the chicken into a pan with the oil to cook until it's no longer raw. Then add in the onions and peppers and cook until the chicken starts to brown. Once the juices etc. have all dried up you can mix in the fajita mix to your desired spice level.


Finally serve in a bowl so people can help themselves!



You can add various things to your wrap to give it a bit of pizzaz - creme fraîche, cucumber, cheese, or even salsa!

It's so easy to make, and I know it's going to be a staple dish in my uni house this year!
